I was in the process of moving back to MS from AL. I have not stayed at this hotel in over 10 years. The new renovations were nice and much better than before. As I was checking out, I asked if they still had any coffee. The front desk ladies pointed out where the coffee was. When I made a cup of coffee, I noticed that breakfast was still out. It was around 10:30 am. A man (Gene) and a lady (Amanda) came out from the back and asked if I needed anything and to help myself. I thought breakfast had ended at 9:30 or 10:00. They said they had food left from breakfast and hated to pick it up. They kept it out for the late guest leaving. They even helped me fix my plate and put saran wrap over it so I could take it to go. Amanda and Gene were two of the nicest people and extremely helpful. I will definitely be staying here again in the next coming weeks prior to my move. They kept the breakfast area super clean and hospitable looking for guests at the hotel. Gene and Amanda both deserve 5 stars for their service.
I stayed here for 8 days do to my semi being in the shop. Everything about this hotel was great!! The people that work here were totally awesome!! Very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was better than any continental breakfast I've had in other hotels. It is a bit on the costly side of things but we'll worth the money. They truly made me feel at home here. Almost didn't want to leave!! And a special thank you to all of the women who worked the front desk!! You guys rock!!
The holiday inn express needs no introduction but let me tell you about some of the best staff that I’ve ever seen at any establishment. Genes(the managers) ability to be omnipresent was amazing, all the while he had the greatest most professional attitude I’ve seen in a long while. I honestly felt “taken care of” while I was there. Thanks to him and the other cool staff some of my confidence in humanity is restored.
Would definitely recommend this hotel!! The room was clean, roomy and well set up! Staff very friendly and helpful! Rooms are on the inside. Felt very safe! The breakfast was delicious! And this is MY hometown. We had to stay due to moving issues.

My friend and I came to Laurel for a short trip and this is where we stayed. Staff were super friendly! The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and very clean! We will definitely stay here again!
We Enjoyed the stay the breakfast was decent. The beds were comfy. The manager Ms. Amanda was amazing and did us right at every turn. We will be returning every time we visit Laurel
Stayed here for 2 nights. We had a wonderful stay. Clean room, great breakfast, great customer service. The employees and manager were fabulous. So sweet that one of the ladies gave us stamps to mail a couple of postcards. Very close to downtown Laurel.

Our 12 youth.. all star girls stayed at this hotel for the weekend the front desk was amazing and very friendly I can’t remember their names but it was 2 black ladies on evening shift was so friendly and helpful with all our needs. All so that morning. The manager was so friendly, He said we know y’all had games all day. Don’t be in no rush to check out. Y’all get some rest and don’t worry about the check time. All hotel needs great staff. We really appreciate the hotel hospitality. Thank Again
